TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College senior defender Allie Brembt has been named one of the Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Athletes of the Week.
With the unprecedented cancellation of spring sports due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Landmark Conference will be recognizing an athlete from each member institution in each conference-sponsored spring sport for the remainder of the academic year. Honorees were nominated for recognition by their respective institution based on achievements from the shortened season and career accolades.
Brembt had six ground balls and a caused turnover in six matches this season when the year ended. In her career, Brembt recorded 17 goals, one assist, 64 ground balls, 29 caused turnovers and 18 draw controls in 51 matches with 40 career starts.
"Allie has become an exceptional leader over the past four years as a Greyhound," noted Head Coach Kristen Nicholson. "Her teammates look to her for guidance on and off the field. Allie has earned the respect of her defensive unit and the coaching staff. We're very proud to see her receive recognition for her hard work and dedication."
