BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's soccer team earned its first win of the season by defeating Ramapo College of New Jersey, 3-0, in the home opener on John Makuvek Field Wednesday evening.

How It Happened

  • Senior forward Charlotte Smith would score a goal in the eighth minute off a pass from freshman defender Hailey Scaff to give the Greyhounds an early 1-0 lead
  • Later in the first half, sophomore forward Lindsay Mullin netted the second Greyhound goal of the game in the 41st minute, with an assist being credited to junior forward Emily Lenthe. The Blue and Grey would take their 2-0 advantage into halftime
  • Two minutes into the second half, Smith would strike again taking a long shot just inside the 18-yard box that got past the goalkeeper. That goal extended the Greyhounds lead over the Roadrunners, which would hold to the final whistle
