SELINSGROVE, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's soccer dropped its first Landmark Conference match of the year, falling to host Susquehanna University, 1-0, Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened

  • The River Hawks netted the only goal of the competition in the 35th minute, just under three minutes after the Greyhounds had taken three straight corner kicks
  • The Blue and Grey would put a pair of shots on goal during the second half but the Hounds weren't able to find the equalizer

Inside the Numbers

  • Moravian had a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks while Susquehanna had a 6-4 edge in shots
  • Sophomore goalie Payce Korpics recorded one save in the first half for the Greyhounds while sophomore Paige Harrison had one save in the second half of the contest
