SCRANTON, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's soccer squad fell to host No. 18 The University of Scranton, 4-0, in Landmark Conference action Saturday.
How It Happened
- The Royals jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 26th minute with an unassisted goal, an advantage that would remain through the rest of the half
- Scranton netted three more goals in the first 8:02 of the second half to finish off the scoring
Inside the Numbers
- Scranton had a 16-1 advantage in shots and an 9-2 edge in corner kicks
- Sophomore goalies Payce Korpics and Paige Harrison each played one half of the contest in goal. Korpics recorded two saves in the first half while Harrison had four saves in the second half. The Greyhounds also had a pair of shots cleared off of the goal line by the defense
