Men’s Tennis Resumes 2013-14 Schedule on Feb. 26

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Moravian College men's tennis team picks up the pace on its 2013-14 season when the spring portion gets under way with a trip to Baptist Bible (Pa.) College on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 4 p.m.

The Greyhounds went 1-1 during the fall, but the vast majority of this season's dual matches are on deck this spring with 16 on the slate.

After the match with Baptist Bible, head coach Art Smith's squad will fly to Orlando, Fla. for a four-match Spring Break trip. The Hounds take on Ohio Northern University, Eastern University, Clark (Mass.) University and Berry (Ga.) College on consecutive days March 2-5.

Moravian returns North to open the spring home schedule on the Hoffman Courts with the advent of Landmark Conference action. Goucher College kicks off league play in Bethlehem on Saturday, March 15 with a dual match at 1 p.m.

After Drew University comes to town for a Landmark Conference dual match the following weekend, the Greyhounds won't see action on the Hoffman Courts until April 12 after a five-match stint away from home.

One of those road contests features the Matte Award match against rival Muhlenberg College on Tuesday, March 25.

The Greyhounds face Ursinus College (March 27), Neumann University (April 15) and Wilkes University (April 16) in non-conference action this spring.

Within the conference, Moravian hosts Goucher and Drew, along with Susquehanna University (April 12) and The United States Merchant Marine Academy (April 17). League dual matches on the road are scheduled at Juniata College (March 29), The Catholic University of America (April 5) and The University of Scranton (April 9).

The Landmark Conference Tournament begins for qualified teams with the semifinal round on Wednesday, April 23 at the homes of the highest two seeds.
