Men's Tennis Comes Up Short in Hard-Fought Match with Clark

ORLANDO, Fla. --- The Moravian College men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 match to Clark (Mass.) University at the Lake Cain Tennis Center in Orlando Tuesday.

The Greyhounds trailed 2-1 after the doubles action with the duo of sophomores Matt Tuorto and John Wylie earning an 8-5 at first doubles. Moravian had a chance to sweep the doubles action as both the second doubles tandem of sophomore Lewis Cooper and freshman Mike Antonis and the third doubles pair of sophomore C.J. Widdifield and freshman Giovanni Lombardi both forced Clark to score an extra point in 9-7 losses.

Antonis earned a three-set win at fifth singles action for Moravian's other point in the team score. Cooper forced tiebreakers in both of his sets in a setback at third singles.

The Greyhounds will close out their Spring Break trip to Orlando on Wednesday, March 5 in a match versus Berry (Ga.) College beginning at 12:00 p.m.
