Hounds End Season with Loss at Juniata in Landmark Semis

HUNTINGDON, Pa. --- The fourth seeded Moravian College men's tennis team dropped a 5-1 decision to top seed Juniata College in the Landmark Conference Semifinals Wednesday afternoon.

The Greyhounds finish the year with an overall record of 8-10.

The Hounds trailed, 2-1, after the doubles action with the duo of junior Lewis Cooper and freshman Mike Antonis earning an 8-6 victory at second doubles.

By conference rules, the postseason matches end when a team earns the five team points needed for the victory. Juniata had a straight sets win at first singles and three set victories at third and fifth singles. Antonis was leading his fourth singles match but did not get it finished before the match became official.

Moravian should have its entire lineup back for the 2014-15 season with no seniors on the squad this year.
