WASHINGTON, D.C. --- The Moravian College men's tennis team suffered an 8-1 setback at The Catholic University of America Saturday afternoon.

The Greyhounds' duo of junior Lewis Cooper and freshman Mike Antonis posted a 9-7 win at second doubles; however, the Cardinals won the other two matches for a 2-1 lead.

The Hounds played tough in singles action with Antonis and fellow freshman Giovanni Lombardi each forcing a third set in their contests and fourth and fifth singles. Sophomore John Wylie went to a tiebreaker in the second set before falling at second singles.

Moravian is slated to return to action on Wednesday, April 9 when the squad travels to The University of Scranton for a Landmark Conference match beginning at 3:30 p.m.
