Greyhounds Run at Lehigh University Fast Times Before Finals

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's indoor track & field squad competed in the Lehigh University Fast Times Before Finals at Rauch Fieldhouse on Friday and Saturday to wrap-up the first semester of action.

Junior John Spirk finished third in the 60-meter hurdles with a career-best time of 8.41 seconds in the finals after winning his heat and having the fifth fastest time in the preliminaries of 8.44 seconds. Spirk also finished 12th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.52 seconds, which is also a PR. Senior Eric Morton placed tenth in the 60-meter dash in 7.18 seconds.

On Friday evening, sophomore Greg Jaindl finished third in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:57.81 in his first time running the event.

Moravian is not scheduled to compete again until Friday, January 20, 2018 when the squad head to the Collegeville Classic hosted by Ursinus College.
