Hounds Move Back into NFCA Division III Top 25 Poll at No. 24

Moravian softball No. 24 in latest NFCA Division III Top 25 Poll.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- The Moravian College softball team moved back into the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III Top 25 Poll at No. 24 this week after three weeks of being out of the poll.

The Hounds, under the leadership of 26-year Head Coach John Byrne who is 837-244 career mark, are 15-3 on the season. The Blue and Grey were ranked No. 21 in the 2019 NFCA Division III Preseason Poll before being No. 24 in the first regular season a month ago. One of Moravian's three losses in 2019 is an 8-4 setback to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, which moved up to No. 20 in the poll this week.

The Greyhounds are slated to return to action on Saturday, March 30 in a Landmark Conference doubleheader at Susquehanna University beginning at 1:00 p.m. in Selinsgrove.
