Hounds Jump 10 Spots into Tie for 14th in Latest NFCA DIII Top 25 Poll

Moravian softball tied for 14th in latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- The Moravian College softball jumped 10 spots into a tie for 14th this week in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III Top 25 Poll.

The Greyhounds, led by 26-year Head Coach John Byrne who has 841-244 career mark, are now 19-3 on the season. The Blue and Grey were ranked No. 21 in the 2019 NFCA Division III Preseason Poll before being No. 24 in the first regular season. The squad returned to the poll after three weeks last Wednesday also at No. 24. One of Moravian's three losses in 2019 is an 8-4 setback to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, which moved up to No. 19 in the poll this week.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Thursday, April 4 in a non-conference doubleheader versus Rutgers-Camden beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Blue & Grey Field in Bethlehem.
