ALLENTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's outdoor track & field team won one event and had four runner-up finishes at the Muhlenberg College Invitational Friday and Saturday.

Moravian Event Winners

• Junior Karalyn Vashey won the hammer throw on Friday with a PR toss of 43.97 meters (144-3)

Moravian Top 10 Finishers

• Vashey took second in the shot put with a PR toss of 11.30 meters (37-1) while senior Arin Peykar placed fourth at 10.62 meters (34-10.25), junior Heather Adams took ninth with a distance of 10.14 meters (33-3.25) and senior Mikayla Woodring finished tenth at 9.74 meters (31-11.5)
• Freshman Emma Shafnisky was second the long jump with a distance of 5.19 meters (17-0.5) while freshman Katelyn Davis placed fifth at 4.79 meters (15-8.75), junior Caroline Melillo finished sixth with a PR leap of 4.75 meters (15-7.5), freshman Erika Dietz took eighth at 4.70 meters (15-5) and freshman Bella Fiore was ninth at 4.68 meters (15-4.25)
• Senior Liz Miskovsky was the runner-up in the hammer throw Friday with a PR distance of 42.48 meters (139-4)
• Freshman Becca Caird took second in the javelin with a distance of 30.88 meters (101-3) while senior Abby McClaskey finished fourth at 28.33 meters (92-11)
• Senior Rylie Murphy was third in the 800-meter run in 2:25.69
• Sophomore Alyssa Hockenberry placed third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 12:18.02 while sophomore Alexis Hockenberry was fourth at 12:24.03
• Melillo was also fourth in the high jump at 1.42 meters (4-7.75)
• Freshman Tessa Hopkins took fourth in the pole vault at a height of 2.74 meters (8-11.75)
• Senior Caillie Fish placed fourth in the discus with a toss of 33.05 meters (108-5) while Adams was seventh at a distance of 31.80 meters (104-4)
• Freshman Kennedy Simons was seventh in the 100-meter hurdles in 17.42 seconds while junior Makenna Mersch took tenth at 18.54 seconds
• Sophomore Kierstyn Klingner placed seventh in the 1,500-meter run at 5:04.00 while senior Amber Poniktera finished tenth in 5:09.43
• Senior Bella DeMassa took seventh in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:13.37 while Mersch placed ninth in 1:15.02
• Senior Ally Meeks was ninth in the 5,000-meter run with a PR time of 19:40.68
• Moravian's "A" 4x400-meter relay squad of Shafnisky, senior Abby Giamoni, junior Shai Knight and freshman Emerson Beamer finished fourth in a time of 4:13.60 while the "B" squad of Klingner, Murphy, Poniktera and junior Elena Bocchetti placed eighth in 4:29.63
