LANCASTER, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's indoor track & field team recorded two All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying marks and had three runner-up finishes in the Franklin & Marshall College Blue & White Invitational Saturday.
Moravian Top 10 Finishers
- Junior Ali Haefele was the runner-up in the triple jump at a distance of 10.75 meters (35-3.25) while freshman Bella Fiore took sixth at 10.18 meters (33-4.75)
- Senior Abby Giamoni finished as the runner-up in the 60-meter dash in an AARTFC qualifying time of 7.97 seconds while junior Shai Knight placed fourth in a PR time of 8.14 seconds
- The Greyhounds 4x400-meter relay team of Giamoni, Knight, sophomore Rachele Grigoli and freshman Emma Shafnisky placed second in a time of 4:13.27
- Junior Caroline Melillo tied for third in the high jump at a height of 1.42 meters (4-7.75)
- Junior Karalyn Vashey placed fourth in the 20-pound weight throw with an AARTFC qualifying toss of 15.14 meters (49-8.25)
- Junior Meghan Myers took fifth in the 5,000-meter run in a time of 19:16.66 while senior Ally Meeks was ninth at 19:57.79
- Shafnisky finished fifth in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.64 seconds
- Vashey was also sixth in the shot put with a toss of 11.13 meters (36-6.25) while senior Mikayla Woodring placed eighth at 10.92 meters (35-10)
- Senior Amber Poniktera finished ninth in the mile run in a time of 5:52.04 while junior Sarah Rice was tenth at 5:52.53
