COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's indoor track & field team had its distance student-athletes race in the Ursinus College Bow Tie Invitational Saturday in the opening weekend of the season.
Moravian Top 10 Finishers
- Junior Tara Smurla finished as the runner-up in the 5,000-meter run with an indoor personal best and All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying time of 17:39.21, the sixth fastest indoor time in program history
- Senior Rachael Goodman was second in the mile run in a time of 5:35.15 while senior Amber Poniktera placed seventh in the race at 5:46.37 and junior Elena Bocchetti took eighth in 5:48.71
- Freshman Katherine Board recorded a third place finish in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 11:48.81
- Senior Rylie Murphy finished fifth in the 800-meter run at 2:37.51
- Freshman Emerson Beamer placed sixth in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:09.18
