BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's indoor track & field team recorded three All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying marks on the second day of the Lehigh University Fast Times Before Finals at Rauch Fieldhouse Saturday.
Moravian Top 10 Finishers
- Senior Abby Giamoni was second in the 60-meter dash finals in a personal best and an AARTFC qualifying time of 7.88 seconds after running the fastest time in the preliminaries at 7.89 seconds
- Giamoni was also the runner-up in the 200-meter dash with an AARTFC qualifying time of 25.91 seconds while sophomore Rachele Grigoli placed eighth in 27.60 seconds and junior Shai Knight took ninth in 27.61 seconds
- Freshman Emma Shafnisky finished as the runner-up in the long jump with an AARTFC qualifying distance of 5.30 meters (17-4.75)
- Shafnisky also took second in the 60-meter hurdle finals in a time of 9.56 seconds while senior Bella DeMassa placed seventh in 10.43 seconds. Junior Makenna Mersch was tenth in the preliminaries of the 60-meter hurdles in 11.23 seconds
- Junior Ali Haefele was fifth in the triple jump with a distance of 10.75 meters (35-3.5) while freshman Bella Fiore took eighth at 10.46 meters (34-4)
- Junior Margie Rayne was sixth in the shot put with a toss of 11.27 meters (36-11.75) while senior Arin Peykar took eighth at a distance of 10.51 meters (34-5.75)
