BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's tennis squad has postponed its non-conference match versus Ursinus College scheduled for Thursday, April 5 due to the Landmark Conference weather policy.
The Greyhounds and the Bears, who are postponing the match for the second time this spring, have rescheduled the contest for Thursday, April 19 with a 4:00 p.m. start at Hoffman Courts in Bethlehem.
The Landmark Conference weather policy for tennis states if for two of the four hours from the match start time, the temperature (actual or wind chill) does not exceed 45° F, or the sustained wind will be in excess of 20 miles per hour, then the match shall be rescheduled to a date or time when conditions are forecast to have improved. This afternoon's forecasted real feel temperature with the wind chill will be in the mid-30s with winds at 20-25 mph.
