Women's Tennis Drops Landmark Conference Contest at Scranton

SCRANTON, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's tennis team dropped a hard-fought, 7-2 decision at The University of Scranton in Landmark Conference action Saturday afternoon.

The Greyhounds trailed 2-1 after doubles action with the duo of sophomore Lauren Steinert and freshman Mary Angle earning an 8-4 win at third doubles.

Steinert also picked up the Hounds' point in singles action with a 6-1, 6-1 win at fifth singles. Freshman Emma Angle forced a third set in her first singles match.

Moravian, which have already had Sunday match at King's College postponed due to the weather, is slated to return to action on Tuesday, April 17 in a Landmark Conference contest versus Elizabethtown College beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Hoffman Courts in Bethlehem.
