Osman Captures 100-meter Hurdles at Muhlenberg Invitational

ALLENTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's track & field squad competed in the non-scoring Muhlenberg College Invitational on Saturday with senior Anna Osman winning an event and the 4x100-meter relay team taking first place.

Osman won the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 1:06.60, and she also ran the leadoff leg of the 4x100-meter relay with senior Jordan Luciano and sophomores Morgan Weaver and Camaryn Wheeler to a first-place finish in 50.88 seconds. Osman also finished third in the 100-meter hurdles in 16.57 seconds while sophomore Jenevieve Eberly was fifth in 16.72 second and freshman Ally Lambert took eight in 17.19 seconds.

Weaver was the runner-up in the 400-meter dash in 1:01.61 while sophomore Emily Renner took third in 1:02.07 and Luciano finished eighth in 1:05.34. Wheeler finished fourth in the 100-meter dash in 13.44 seconds, and she was sixth in the 200-meter dash in 27.40 seconds, just behind Renner, who was fifth in 27.23 seconds. Lambert was the runner-up in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:06.83 while Eberly took sixth in 1:13.39 and sophomore Cat Cole was ninth in 1:15.07.

Junior Rachel Mikols was the runner-up in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 13:03.87 while freshman Natalie Stabilito finished third in the 800-meter run in 2:22.56 while junior Alyssa Ullmann was ninth in 2:30.58. Freshman Santina Burak was third in the 1,500-meter run in 5:01.29 and was followed by junior Ashley Rohrer in sixth at 5:07.14, sophomore Molly Talarico in eighth with a time of 5:11.74 and senior Alyssa Limbaugh in tenth at 5:18.69.

Luciano was tie for second in the long jump with a leap of 5.06 meters (16-7.25) while sophomore Tyleen Lopez was eighth at 4.83 meters (15-10.75) and Eberly was ninth with a leap of 4.64 meters (15-2.75). Freshman Olivia Teel finished fifth in the high jump at 1.44 meters (4-8.75).

The Hounds are slated to compete again on Friday and Saturday, April 12-13 when the team hosts annual Coach P Invitational named for former Head Coach Doug Pollard at Timothy Breidegam Track and Rocco Calvo Field.
