Women Compete in Carol & John Covert Classic at Lehigh University

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's track & field squad had its final tune-up for the 2019 Landmark Conference Championships Saturday by competing in the Carol & John Covert Classic hosted by Lehigh University.

Junior Carly Danoski led the Greyhounds with a runner-up finish in the 1,500-meter run in a time of 4:48.40 while sophomore Nora Grimm was third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 13:16.22. Sophomore Camaryn Wheeler was eighth in the 100-meter dash in 13.06 seconds and tenth in the 200-meter dash in 27.16 seconds while freshman Natalie Stabilito finished ninth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:20.93.

Sophomore Jenevieve Eberly was fifth in the long jump with a leap of 4.72 meters (15-6) while sophomore Tyleen Lopez tied for seventh at 4.42 meters (14-6. Eberly was also ninth in the triple jump at 10.08 meters (33-1).

The Hounds look to defend their Landmark Conference Outdoor Championships at the 2019 meet being hosted by Goucher College in Towson, Maryland on May 4-5.
