Moravian Hosts Annual Greyhound Invitational

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's track & field hosted the annual Greyhound Invitational at Timothy Breidegam Track and Rocco Calvo Field Saturday.

Senior Anna Osman had the top finish for the Greyhounds with a runner-up in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:04.43 while sophomore Jenevieve Eberly was tenth in the 100-meter preliminaries in 16.53 seconds. Senior Jordan Luciano finished fifth in the 200-meter dash in 26.27 seconds, and she was ninth in the preliminaries of the 100-meter dash in 12.85 seconds. Osman and Luciano also ran the 4x100-meter relay with sophomores Morgan Weaver and Camaryn Wheeler as the quartet finished fourth in 50.17 seconds.

Sophomore Grace Gilbert finished third in the 10,000-meter run in a time of 39:52.22 while freshman Natalie Stabilito was seventh in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:22.88. Sophomore Molly Talarico took eighth in the 1,500-meter run in 5:05.76.

Junior Vanessa Blose was third in the shot put with a personal best mark of 10.50 meters (34-5.5) while junior Hailee Yoder took fourth in the javelin with a PR mark of 33.27 meters (109-2). Yoder also placed sixth in the discus with a PR toss of 30.50 meters (100-0) while Blose was ninth at 30.05 meters (98-7).

Moravian is slated to compete in two events this week with a group heading to the Penn Relays and the team having its final tune-up for the 2019 Landmark Conference Championships by competing in the Lehigh University Games on Saturday, April 27.
