BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's and women's indoor track & field squads are scheduled to open 2018-19 season on Saturday, December 1 at the Lehigh University Season Opener in Rauch Fieldhouse with the meet starting at 10:00 a.m.

Eighth-year Head Coach Jesse Baumann looks to have both of the Greyhounds' teams challenge for the 2019 Landmark Conference Indoor Championship in February at Susquehanna University. The women have won 10 of 11 Landmark Conference Indoor titles, returning to the top of the podium in 2018 after a runner-up finish in 2017. The men have also won 10 of 11 possible Landmark indoor titles including nine straight.

The women's team has 28 returnees including seven competitors that earned Landmark All-Conference honors a year ago. Leading that group is senior Amari Schooler, who looks to win the 60-meter hurdles for the fourth straight year, and she earned All-Conference Second Team honors in the 60-meter dash. Junior Carly Danoski is back to defend her title in the 800-meter run while senior Anna Osman looks to repeat in the 400-meter dash.

Senior Jordan Luciano aims to defend her title in the long jump, and she also returns along with sophomore Camaryn Wheeler from the Greyhounds' winning 4x200-meter relay squad. Danoski and Osman are back from the 4x400-meter relay title team. Sophomore Tatiana Lopez earned All-Conference Second Team accolades in the 60-meter hurdles last February while sophomore Jenevieve Eberly was second in the long jump a year ago.

The men's squad has 27 returning student-athletes including 10 All-Conference performers. Senior hurdler John Spirk aims to capture the 60-meter hurdles for the fourth time this winter, and he returns after being named the 2018 Landmark Conference Indoor Male Track Athlete of the Year after also winning the 400-meter dash and 4x200-meter relay a year ago. Sophomore Zion Howard, the 2018 Landmark Conference Male Rookie of the Year, will try to defend his title in the 200-meter dash, and he ran with Spirk on the winning 4x200-meter relay squad while earning All-Conference Second Team honors with a runner-up finish in the 60-meter dash.

Senior Scott Goodwin looks to win his third straight title in the pole vault while junior Greg Jaindl is gunning for a repeat in the 5,000-meter run, and he earned All-Conference Second Team honors in the 3,000-meter run. Sophomore Shane Mastro is back to defend his title in the shot put while seniors Chris Antoine and Brian Stock are back to run in the 4x200-meter relay again. Junior Justin Beasley-Turner and sophomore Peter Gingrich return half of Moravian's winning distance medley relay squad.
