Greyhound Cross Country Teams Ready to Run on August 31 to Begin 2018 Season

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's and women's cross country teams are ready to run in the Bulldog Invitational at DeSales University on Friday, August 31 to start the 2018 season.

Eighth-year Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Jesse Baumann has 13 women and 10 men returning to run this fall led by juniors Greg Jaindl and Katie Mayer, who both earned Landmark All-Conference honors last year with Jaindl on the First Team for the men and Mayer making the Second Team for the women. Juniors Gavin Kemery and Justin Beasley-Turner also received All-Conference Second Team accolades for the men's team while sophomore Grace Gilbert was also on the Second Team for the women in 2017.

The Hounds' campaign begins in Center Valley on Friday with the women's 6,000-meter race set for 6:00 p.m. and the men's 8,000-meter race to follow at 6:45 p.m.
