Moravian Closes NCAA D3Week with Student-Athlete Dinner

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee helped the Greyhounds close out the 8th Annual NCAA D3Week with a semi-formal dinner for all of the Moravian student-athletes in Johnston Hall Sunday evening.

In addition to the dinner, the SAAC presented awards for the past year to individuals and teams from across the department. The award winners were –

 

Highest Female Team GPA – Women's Cross Country

Highest Male Team GPA – Men's Cross Country

Most Community Service Hours by a Female Team – Women's Basketball

Most Community Service Hours by a Male Team – Men's Basketball

Best Moment of the Year – Men's Soccer – 1-0 overtime win at Goucher College clinching program's first Landmark Conference Tournament Berth

Best Comeback of the Year – Softball – Winning 2018 NCAA Division III Ewing, N.J. Regional facing elimination four times

Best Game of the Year – Men's Basketball – 86-72 Landmark Conference Championship win at Drew University

Female Team of the Year – Softball

Male Team of the Year – Men's Basketball

Most Improved Team – Women's Lacrosse

Male Breakthrough Athlete – Anthony Nagy, Men's Soccer

Female Breakthrough Athlete – Maddie Capuano, Women's Basketball
