2006-07 Women's Tennis Team - New Moravian Hall of Fame Inductee

The 2006-07 Women's Tennis Team will be inducted into the Moravian Hall of Fame on November 9.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The 2006-07 women's tennis team is being inducted into the Moravian College Athletic Hall of Fame on November 9, 2018 in Johnston Hall beginning at 6:00 p.m.

The Greyhounds were coached by Dawn Ketterman-Benner, who is also being inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. The squad captured the program's final Commonwealth Conference Championship and earned the program's first-ever NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament appearance. The team, which finished the year at 14-3, was led by seniors Courtney Hall and Margo Kokolus, juniors Rebecca Angstadt, Lindsey Hopper, Brittany Popaca and Jennel Yelito and sophomores MaryKate Kelly and Dyana Swan.

The women's tennis team and Kettermnan-Benner are being joined by women's soccer player Megan J. Collins Spangler '06; football student-athlete Dominick A. Cusumano '98; cross country and women's track runner Kristie Reccek Fach '99; football player Robert Hennessy '96; men's tennis player Gordon E. Rupert '66 and men's soccer player Greg D. Witt '88 in the class of 2018 that will be inducted into the Moravian College Athletic Hall of Fame. Robert E. Kafafian '77 will receive the Robert Martin Herbstman Award next Friday evening as well.
