Novotni Wins 10K to Lead Greyhounds in 10th Annual Coach P Invitational

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's track team hosted the 10th Annual Coach Pollard Invitational at Timothy Breidegam Track and Rocco Calvo Field Friday and Saturday.

In action Friday evening, sophomore Natalie Novotni won the 10,000-meter run with a time of 39:14.43 while freshman Emma Marion took second in 39:52.57, junior Katie Mayer finished fourth in 41:50.92 and junior Marlee Hornbaker placed sixth in a time of 44:52.26.

On Saturday, junior Carly Danoski was fifth in the 400-meter dash in a PR of 58.72 seconds while senior Anna Osman was ninth in the race in 1:00.21. Danoski also ran a leg of the 4x400-meter relay with sophomores Emily Renner and Morgan Weaver and freshman Ally Lambert to finish sixth in a time of 4:08.24.

Junior Ashley Rohrer was the runner-up in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 12:09.63, and she was followed by freshman Santina Burak in fourth at 12:14.49, sophomore Alison Nicolosi in ninth with a time of 13:37.16 and sophomore Nora Grimm in tenth at 13:59.49. Freshman Natalie Stabilito placed eighth in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:53.99 while sophomore Grace Gilbert was tenth in the 5,000-meter run in 19:16.25.

 

The Hounds are scheduled to host the annual Greyhound Invitational on Friday and Saturday, April 19-20 at Timothy Breidegam Track and Rocco Calvo Field with Friday's action beginning at 3:00 p.m.
