BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's basketball team is set to tip-off the 2021-22 campaign on Friday, November 5 with a non-conference contest at rival Muhlenberg College at 7:00 p.m.
The opener starts a five-game month of November for Interim Head Coach Mike Frew, however; that first contest is the only road game for a month. The Greyhounds are slated to host Penn State Brandywine on November 8, Delaware Valley University on November 16, Misericordia University on November 19 and DeSales University on November 23.
The Blue and Grey also begin December in the friendly confines of Johnston Hall with Cabrini University coming to Bethlehem on December 1. Moravian will then hit the road until 2022 with the five-game road trip beginning with the 2021-22 Landmark Conference opener at Juniata College on December 4. The Greyhounds will finish a home-and-home series with Penn State Brandywine on December 8 before an exhibition contest at NCAA Division I The University of Delaware on December 10. After a break for finals, Moravian will travel to York (N.Y.) College on December 20 and Cairn University on December 29.
The new year opens with the annual Steel Club Classic as the Greyhounds take on Vassar (N.Y.) College on January 2 and New York University on January 3 in the final non-conference contests of the season. Salisbury (Md.) University rounds out the teams in the tournament. The Hounds return to Landmark Conference action with home games versus Goucher College on January 8 and Drew University on January 12. Moravian then heads out to Elizabethtown College on January 15 and The University of Scranton on January 19 before hosting The Catholic University of America on January 22. The Hounds will close out the month of January on the road with trips to Susquehanna University on January 26 and Goucher College on January 29.
The Blue and Grey begin February with three straight home games starting with Scranton on February 2. The squad will host its annual alumni game prior to playing Elizabethtown on February 5, and the Hounds welcome Susquehanna to Johnston Hall on February 9. Moravian will head to Catholic on February 12 and Drew on February 16 before finishing the regular season at home against Juniata on February. 19.
The Greyhounds look to qualify for the 2022 Landmark Conference Tournament that begins with the semifinals on Wednesday, February 23 and the final slated for Saturday, February 26 at the highest remaining seeds' home court.
