TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University senior guard Danny Cooper has been selected to the 2022 Landmark Men's Basketball All-Conference Second Team for his performance this winter.

Cooper, who was in his first season as a collegiate basketball player, led the Greyhounds in scoring at 15.4 points per game, and he also topped the squad with 96 assists, 47 three-pointers, 31 steals and 804 minutes played. Cooper contributed 4.3 rebounds per contest and had just 52 turnovers as the Hounds' point guard. He shot 51.1 percent (142-of-278) from the floor, 45.6 percent (47-of-103) beyond the three-point line and 88.7 percent (55-of-62) at the foul line.

"Danny Cooper is a deserving All-Landmark Conference selection. His work ethic is superior to others, and his desire to compete has driven his success on the basketball court," commented Interim Head Coach Mike Frew. "He ranks top 5 in the league in points per game, total points scored, 3-point percentage, free throw percentage, and total assists. These statistical accomplishments are attributed to his elite preparation to the game. Danny's leadership was integral in our team's success this season. Accomplishing these things in his first year of college basketball is something to be proud of. Danny Cooper is a fine example of what it means to be a Moravian University Men's Basketball teammate."

Moravian finished the season with a 9-16 overall record, and the squad was 4-10 in Landmark Conference action.
