Greyhounds Finish Fourth at Augustine Intercollegiate

STAFFORD, Va. --- The Moravian University men's golf squad moved up two spots on the second day of competition to finish fourth of 10 teams at the Augustine Intercollegiate played at the Augustine Golf Club in Virginia.

How It Happened

  • The Hounds had the third lowest team score in the second round with a four-man score of 302 to finish the 36-hole tournament with a 628, just three strokes behind host Arcadia University
  • The Catholic University of America was first with a 612, edging Swarthmore College by one stroke 

Moravian Results

  • Freshman Jake Haberstumpf tied for the low round of the tournament with a one-under par 70 in the second round on Saturday as he carded a birdie and 17 pars. Haberstumpf was tied for seventh of the 55 golfers with a two-day total of 155
  • Sophomore TJ Bohl finished in a tie for 14th at 157 after shooting a 78 in the second round with two birdies and nine pars
  • Senior Andrew Hozza was tied for 17th at 158 with a 75 on Saturday that included three birdies and 10 pars
  • Senior Jason Koch tied and freshman Robbie McNelly were tied for 28th with 36-hole totals of 163 apiece. Koch fired a 79 in the second round with 11 pars while McNelly carded an 83 on Saturday with a birdie and eight pars
