NEW TRIPOLI, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's golf team tied for third of 11 teams in the Moravian Spring Classic played at Olde Homestead Golf Club Wednesday.

How It Happened

  • The Greyhounds posted four-man score of 324, tying Saint Vincent College for third place
  • The University of Scranton won the tournament with a 314 while Neumann University was second with a 321 

Moravian Results

  • Senior Jason Koch led the Greyhounds as he third of the 59 golfers with a four-over par round of 76 that included 14 pars
  • Freshman Jake Haberstumpf and sophomore TJ Bohl were part of a tie for 10th with rounds of 80. Bohl carded a pair of birdies and six pars while Haberstampf had a birdie and 10 pars
  • Junior Eric Gilbert was tied for 37th with an 88 that included seven pars
  • Senior Jack Wagner finished in a tie for 42nd with a 90 that had a birdie and four pars in the round
  • The Hounds had a pair of individual competitors as well with junior Sam Mortazavi finishing in a tie for 31st with an 86 that included a birdie and six pars and sophomore Jacob Donmoyer shooting a 104 with a par
