WASHINGTON, N.J. --- The Moravian University men's golf team finished sixth of ten teams at the Garden State Collegiate Classic played at the Hawk Pointe Golf Club Sunday.
How It Happened
- The Greyhounds had a team score of 296, finishing one stoke behind Farmingdale State College and three strokes back from fourth place York College of Pennsylvania
- Tournament host Drew University took first place with a 285
- The tournament was originally scheduled for a two-day, 36-hole tournament but was shortened to one day and 18 holes due to the weather on Saturday
Moravian Results
- Freshman Jake Haberstumpf finished second of the 59 golfers with a three-under par round of 69 that included five birdies and 11 pars
- Sophomore TJ Bohl was tied for eighth with an even par round of 72 as he carded five birdies and nine pars
- Freshman Robbie McNelly tied for 35th with 77 with one birdie and 12 pars
- Senior Andrew Hozza was tied for 37th after a round of 78 that included 13 pars
- Sophomore Jason Koch finished in a tie for 48th with an 81 with a birdie and 10 pars
