Haberstumpf Wins Seventh Tournament of the Season as Hounds Take Fifth at F&M Spring Invitational

LITITZ, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's golf squad finished fifth of 13 teams in the Franklin & Marshall College Spring Invitational Monday at the Bent Creek Country Club in the Greyhounds final tournament before the 2023 Landmark Conference Championships. 

How It Happened

  • The Hounds recorded a four-man team score of 311, three strokes behind Landmark Conference foe Goucher College
  • The host Diplomats saw their "B" team finish first with a 296

Moravian Results

  • Freshman Jake Haberstumpf captured his seventh medalist honor of the year with a one-under par round of 70. Haberstumpf won the tiebreaker with Jas Fuhrer from F&M on the No. 1 handicap hole, the third hole on the course where Haberstumpf carded a birdie
  • Sophomore TJ Bohl was tied for tenth of the 67 golfers with a 75
  • Freshman Robbie McNelly tied for 25th with an 80
  • Sophomore Jason Koch finished in a tie for 42nd with an 86
  • Junior Sam Mortazavi rounded out the Moravian lineup with a round of 101
