BOALSBURG, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's golf team is in fifth place after the opening round of the 2023 Landmark Conference Championships at the Mountain View Country Club Friday.

How It Happened

  • The Hounds recorded a four-man team score of 327 for the first 18 holes of the 36-hole tournament, just three stokes behind Goucher College
  • Drew University is in first place with a 314, two strokes ahead of both The Catholic University of America and The University of Scranton

Moravian Results

  • Sophomore TJ Bohl is tied for fifth of the 40 golfers with an opening round of 79 on the par 70 course. Bohl carded two birdies and seven pars in his 18 holes
  • Freshman Jake Haberstumpf is tied for 14th with an 81 in the first round that included a par and eight birdies
  • Senior Andrew Hozza is also tied for 14th at 81 with two birdies and five pars in his opening round
  • Sophomore Jason Koch sits in a tie for 27th with an 86 on Friday that included a birdie and five pars
  • Freshman Robbie McNelly is tied for 31st with an 88 with a birdie and a pair of pars
