SELINSGROVE, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's lacrosse dropped a 16-7 decision at Susquehanna University in Landmark Conference action Saturday.
How It Happened
- The River Hawks scored the first three goals before junior midfielder Nick Nolder scored for the Greyhounds. Susquehanna added two more goals to lead 5-1 after 15 minutes of action
- Junior attack Griffin LeBlond scored a pair of goals just 11 seconds apart early in the second quarter as the Hounds pulled within 5-3, and the squads traded goals the rest of the half with the River Hawks heading into the intermission with a 7-5 advantage
- Susquehanna opened the scoring with a goal early in the third quarter before Nolder scored again. The River Hawks tacked on three more tallies to lead 11-6 after 45 minutes of action
- Susquehanna would score five of the six goals in the final quarter with senior attack Connor Hull finding the goal for Moravian
Inside the Numbers
- Nolder and LeBlond led Moravian with two goals apiece while senior attack Cade Siddron and junior attack Connor James each had a goal and an assist. Hull added one goal while junior midfielder Zach Bergeron had an assist
- James also led the Greyhounds with five ground balls while senior face-off specialist Max Towers added three ground balls while going 6-for-21 on face-offs. Senior long stick midfielder Jimmy Schicke scooped up four ground balls and had a pair of caused turnovers
- Sophomore goalie Sean DeMott made 13 saves in the contest
