Greyhounds Suffer First Setback of 2023 in Hard-Fought Loss to No. 6 Montclair State

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's soccer team suffered its first setback of the 2023 season, falling 1-0 to No. 6 Montclair State University in a hard-fought, non-conference match on John Makuvek Field Wednesday evening in the Greyhounds home opener.

How It Happened

  • The Red Hawks had the opening shot of the game while the Hounds nearly scored on a breakaway by junior forward Ben Scary in the 12th minute, but his shot was saved
  • Montclair State netted the only goal of the night in the 32nd minute on an unassisted goal
