ABINGTON, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's soccer squad posted a 1-0 shutout victory at Penn State Abington in non-conference action Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened

  • The Greyhounds netted the game's only goal in the 17th minute as senior defender Donald Gibbs scored on a full bicycle kick off a double pass by senior defender Dave Steinbach and junior midfielder Hunter Shay
  • The Hounds made the goal stand for the remainder of the match to improve to 2-1-2 this fall 

Inside the Numbers

  • Gibbs recorded his first goal of the season and third of his career while Steinbach notched his first career assist and Shay picked up his third assist of 2023 and fifth as a Greyhound
  • Moravian senior goalie Andrew Remias remained undefeated on the season as he recorded one save for his fourth shutout of the fall and eighth of his career
  • Penn State Abington finished with 10-5 advantage in shots and a 7-3 edge in corner kicks
