Moravian Women’s Lacrosse Begins Pape Era on February 23

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's lacrosse squad begins its 2022 season on Wednesday, February 23 with a trip to rival Muhlenberg College for a non-conference match as Greyhounds' new Head Coach Caroline Pape makes her debut.

The Hounds will then travel to Christopher Newport (Va.) University on Saturday, February 26 to start Spring Break, and Moravian plays its first home match on Sunday, March 6 when the United States Coast Guard Academy comes to John Makuvek Field on the final day of break. The Blue and Grey are slated to head to Lycoming College on Wednesday, March 9, and Moravian has home contests scheduled with FDU-Florham on Saturday, March 12 and Cabrini University on Wednesday, March 16.

The Greyhounds will head to Montclair State University on Saturday, March 19 before returning home to face The College of New Jersey on Tuesday, March 22. The Hounds close out the month of March with their first Landmark Conference contest of the season on Saturday, March 26 with a trip to Drew University.

Moravian begins April with four straight matches on John Makuvek Field including Landmark Conference foe Juniata College on Saturday, April 2, Stockton (N.J.) University on Wednesday, April 6, Landmark Conference opponent Goucher College on Saturday, April 9 and the University of Mary Washington (Va.) on Wednesday, April 13.

The Greyhounds finish the regular season with four Landmark Conference contests beginning with a trip to Susquehanna University on Saturday, April 16. The Blue and Grey then have home matches with Elizabethtown College on Wednesday, April 20 and The University of Scranton on Saturday, April 23 before completing the regular season at The Catholic University of America on Saturday April 30.

The 2022 Landmark Conference Tournament is slated to start on Wednesday, May 4 with a pair of semifinal matches at the top seeds, and the conference champion will receive an automatic berth to the 2022 NCAA Division III Tournament.
