CENTER VALLEY, Pa. --- Moravian University senior Brooke Wehr was recognized as Moravian University's Outstanding Athlete while senior Lindsey Strohl was named the Most Outstanding Women's Lacrosse Athlete at the Lehigh Valley Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women annual awards luncheon at DeSales University on Tuesday.

Strohl was recognized as the LVAIAW Outstanding Athlete for women's lacrosse as she has been a key part of helping the Greyhounds to an 8-9 record this season and the third seed in the 2022 Landmark Conference Semifinals on Wednesday, May 4 at The University of Scranton. She leads the Greyhounds with 51 goals, 97 draw controls, 37 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers this season to go along with three assists for a total of 54 points. Strohl is a two-time member of the Landmark All-Conference Second Team, earning the accolade in 2019 and 2021. She is second in school history with 273 draw controls, fifth in goals with 140 and fifth in points with 152 to go along with 90 ground balls and 48 caused turnovers. Strohl is a three-time member of the Landmark Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll and is also part of Moravian's Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society.
Wehr was selected as Moravian's LVAIAW Outstanding Athlete. She has helped Moravian to a 28-4 record this season that included a 10-2 mark in Landmark Conference action that has the squad as the second seed for the 2022 Landmark Conference Tournament at Susquehanna University on May 6-8. This season, Wehr is hitting .364 with 43 hits, 25 runs, 24 RBIs, five doubles, three triples and seven homers. She has appeared in 156 career games with 220 hits, which ranks second in program history, to go with 555 at-bats (third), 167 runs (second), 36 doubles (tied for fifth), 11 triples (tied for third), 36 home runs (school record), 146 RBIs (third all-time), 386 total bases (school record), 37 walks and 17 stolen bases with a .396 career batting average (seventh) and a .695 slugging percentage (third) at the plate. In the field, she has 475 putouts, 30 assists, nine runners caught stealing and a .990 fielding percentage (seventh). Wehr was selected to the 2021 National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III All-America Third Team and the College Sports Information Directors of America Division III Academic All-America First Team. She was the 2021 Landmark Conference Player of the Year and named to the Landmark All-Conference First Team in 2018, 2019 and 2021. Wehr is a three-time member of the NFCA Division III All-Atlantic Region Teams, making the Second Team in 2021 and the Third Team in 2018 and 2019. She is also a four-time member of the Landmark Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll.
