Third Athletics Giving Challenge - Day 8 Leaderboard
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University Athletics is hosting its third Athletics Giving Challenge that runs from October 28-November 7. The Greyhounds have 1,497 donors over eight days of the challenge raising over $100,200.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University Athletics is hosting its third Athletics Giving Challenge that runs from October 28-November 7. The Greyhounds have 1,497 donors over eight days of the challenge raising over $100,200.
The men's lacrosse program leads the list with 177 donors and over $16,000, including 100% student-athlete participation, which unlocks an extra $1,000 from the Blue & Grey Club. The softball team has had 144 donors for more than $10,700 followed by the women's lacrosse squad who has a total of 117 donors for over $3,400. The football team had 114 donors for over $14,700 while women's soccer team had 107 donors, including reaching 100% student-athlete participation to unlock $1,000 from the Blue & Grey Club. The women's basketball squad had 106 donors for over $6,600 while baseball had 84 donors for over $5,500 and the men's soccer program had 83 donors after eight days of the giving challenge. The field hockey, golf and volleyball squads also reached 100% student-athlete participation and unlocked the bonus of $1,000 donated by the Blue & Grey Club.
The men's lacrosse, softball and football programs are both over $10,000. The baseball, women's basketball, golf and men's soccer teams have all received over $5,000 while the field hockey, men's basketball, men's tennis, volleyball and women's lacrosse, women's soccer and women's tennis programs and the Blue & Grey Club have recorded over $3,000 while the swimming and track & field teams have all surpassed $2,000 over eight days. Also eclipsing the $1,000 mark is the cross country squad.
