Third Athletics Giving Challenge - Day 10 Leaderboard
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University Athletics is hosting its third Athletics Giving Challenge that runs from October 28-November 7. The Greyhounds have 1,745 donors over ten days and raising over $126,400 heading into the final day of the giving challenge.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University Athletics is hosting its third Athletics Giving Challenge that runs from October 28-November 7. The Greyhounds have 1,745 donors over ten days and raising over $126,400 heading into the final day of the giving challenge.
The men's lacrosse program leads the list with 210 donors and over $17,800, including 100% student-athlete participation, which unlocks an extra $1,000 from the Blue & Grey Club. The softball team also has 100% student-athlete participation and has had 150 donors for more than $11,000 followed by the football squad who has a total of 149 donors for over $24,200. The women's basketball team, who reached 100% student-athlete participation had 133 donors for over $10,400 while women's lacrosse team had 129 donors for over $3,700, including reaching 100% student-athlete participation. The women's soccer and baseball squads each had 111 donors with women's soccer having over $3,400 and reached 100% student-athlete participation while baseball brought in $7,600. The men's soccer program had 95 donors for $6,900 after nine ten of the giving challenge. The field hockey, golf, men's basketball, men's tennis, women's tennis and volleyball squads also reached 100% student-athlete participation and unlocked the bonus of $1,000 donated by the Blue & Grey Club.
The football squad has received over $20,000 while men's lacrosse, softball and women's basketball programs are both over $10,000. The baseball, golf, men's basketball and men's soccer teams have all received over $5,000 while the field hockey, men's tennis, track & field, volleyball, women's lacrosse, women's soccer and women's tennis programs and the Blue & Grey Club have recorded over $3,000. The cross country and swimming teams have surpassed $2,000 over 10 days.
