TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University junior midfielder Megan Donnelly has been selected as the Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.
Donnelly helped Moravian to a 1-1 record last week with five goals, two assists, 12 draw controls and three ground balls in the two matches. She had two goals and eight draws in a 12-10 loss to the University of Mary Washington. Donnelly then had three goals, two assists, four draws and three ground balls in the Greyhounds' 16-15 Landmark Conference win at Susquehanna University.
"Megan is a force and inspiration for our team," commented Head Coach Caroline Pape. "She works incredibly hard all over the field and gives her all each game with a great attitude."
The Hounds, who are 7-6 on the season, are slated to return to action on Wednesday, April 20 when the squad hosts Elizabethtown College in a Landmark Conference contest beginning at 7:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field as the Greyhounds look to clinch their fourth consecutive berth in the Landmark Conference Tournament.
