TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University junior midfielder Emily Hoskin has been selected as the Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Hoskin helped Moravian to a 1-1 record last week, and she had two goals, 10 ground balls, six draw controls and three caused turnovers. Hoskin contributed two goals, five ground balls and four draw controls in the Greyhounds' 22-14 win versus Cabrini University, and she added five ground balls, three caused turnovers and a pair of draw controls in a 14-10 loss at Montclair State University as Moravian's three-match winning streak came to a close.

"Emily works incredibly hard and is someone we rely on at both ends of the field and particularly in the midfield game," commented Head Coach Caroline Pape. "She makes great plays and stops 1v1 and gives the extra effort to be successful on 50/50 opportunities."

The Hounds, who are 3-3 on the year, are slated to return to action on Tuesday, March 22 when the team welcomes the College of New Jersey to John Makuvek Field for a non-conference match starting at 4:30 p.m.
