Emma Angle Named Landmark Conference Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week

TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College senior Emma Angle has been named as the Landmark Conference Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Angle helped the Greyhounds remain undefeated on the year with a pair of 9-0 victories in Landmark Conference action. She won a pair of straight sets matches at first singles, and Angle teamed with twin sister Mary Angle for two wins at first doubles.

"Emma has really been playing some great tennis all season for us at both the #1 singles and #1 doubles positions," commented Director of Tennis Aaron Wilf. "She gives us so much strength at the top of the lineup and continues to be such a great competitor every time she steps onto the court."

The Greyhounds, who are 6-0 overall and 5-0 in Landmark Conference action, are scheduled to return to the courts on Saturday, April 24 in a Landmark Conference match at The University of Scranton beginning at 1:00 p.m.
