Sophomore Brooks Adams named Landmark Conference Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week.

TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College sophomore Brooke Adams has been named the Landmark Conference Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Adams had a combined 4-0 week in singles and doubles as the Greyhounds completed their trip to the Spring TennisFest in Hilton Head, South Carolina with a 1-1 mark in the two matches. Adams won twice in straight sets at fourth singles, and she combined with fellow sophomore Emma Angle for a pair of victories at second doubles.

"Brooke had a really great spring break trip for us going undefeated the whole week at #4 singles and #2 doubles," stated Director of Tennis Aaron Wilf. "She puts herself in position every match to be successful and her competitive drive and passion are on display every time she walks onto the tennis court."

Moravian is slated to return to action on Saturday, March 23 when the squad begins its 2019 Landmark Conference schedule by hosting Elizabethtown College at 12:00 p.m. on Hoffman Courts.
