BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's tennis team completed the non-conference portion of its 2018-19 schedule with a 6-0 win over visiting King's College Thursday at Hoffman Courts in a match shortened due to light rain making the courts to slick to finish the final singles matches.

The victory also gave first-year Director of Men's and Women's Tennis Aaron Wilf his 100th career collegiate coaching victory. Prior to taking over the Greyhounds' men and women this season, Wilf coached both genders at Frostburg State University for two years, the women's squad at LaRoche College for five year and the women's team at Chatham University for two seasons. The Greyhounds improve to 16-1 this year with their 11th consecutive win.

The Blue and Grey swept the doubles action for a quick 3-0 lead. The tandem of junior Eiman Nazif and sophomore Emma Angle finished first with an 8-2 victory at first doubles while senior Kate Rennar and sophomore Brooke Adams posted an 8-4 win at third doubles to make it 2-0. Junior Lauren Steinert and sophomore Mary Angle completed the sweep with an 8-3 triumph at second doubles.

The Greyhounds would also win the three singles matches that were completed before the courts became too slick to compete on. Emma Angle pushed the advantage to 4-0 with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at first singles while Rennar earned a 6-0, 6-0 win at sixth singles to clinch the victory and give Wilf his milestone victory. Nazif recorded a 6-1, 6-2 triumph at second singles while Mary Angle, Steinert and Adams all had one set leads when their matches were ended.

Moravian will close out the regular season with a Landmark Conference match versus Drew University scheduled for Saturday, April 27 beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Hoffman Courts as the Hounds celebrate Senior Day. The Blue and Grey have already clinched the top seed in the 2019 Landmark Conference Tournament and will host fourth seed Goucher College in a semifinal match on Wednesday, May 1 at Hoffman Courts beginning at 4:00 p.m.
