MIDDLEBURY, Vt. --- The Moravian College women's tennis team saw its 2018-19 season come to a close on Saturday in the Second Round of the 2019 NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament as the Greyhounds fell to No. 3 and regional host Middlebury (Vt.) College, 5-0.

The Hounds end the year at 20-2 after having their 15-match winning streak stopped by the Panthers. The Blue and Grey set a program record for victories this year, won the squad's fourth Landmark Conference Championship, made the program's third trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament and won for the first time with Friday's opening round victory over Cairn University.

On Saturday, the doubles tandem of junior Lauren Steinert and sophomore Mary Angle won a pair of games before falling 8-2 at second doubles while the first doubles duo of junior Eiman Nazif and sophomore Emma Angle won one game in their doubles contest.

Nazif would capture the Greyhounds only game in singles action, taking a game in her first set at second singles before the match was unfinished due to Middlebury reaching the five points needed for victory.
