Hounds Win Seventh Straight Match With Sweep of Neumann

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's tennis squad earned its seventh straight victory, defeating visiting Neumann University, 9-0, in non-conference action at Hoffman Courts Thursday afternoon.

The Greyhounds, now 12-1 this year, had doubles wins from the teams of junior Lauren Steinert and sophomore Mary Angle at first doubles and sophomore Destiny George and freshman Hannah Pellicciotti at second doubles.

Angle and Steinert also picked up wins in straight sets at first and second singles while sophomores Brooke Adams and Kristen Cassidy earned straight sets wins at third and four singles. Senior Kate Rennar won her fifth singles contest with a proset.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, April 13 in a Landmark Conference match at The University of Scranton beginning at 1:00 p.m.
