Greyhounds Tip-Off 2019-20 Season in Johnston Hall Versus Muhlenberg on November 8

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's basketball squad is slated to begin its 2019-20 schedule of 25 games on Friday, November 8 when the Greyhounds host rival Muhlenberg College in a non-conference game tipping off at 7:00 p.m. in Johnston Hall.

The Greyhounds, who last season captured the program's second straight Landmark Conference title and first-ever NCAA Division III Tournament victory while tying a school record with 20 victories, are under the direction of first-year Head Coach Shawn Postiglione. Moravian hosts the College of Mount Saint Vincent on November 11 before heading to the Widener University Tip-Off Tournament for Autism Awareness on November 15-16 with an opening round game versus Kean (N.J.) University. The squad hosts William Paterson (N.J.) University on November 20 before a short trip to DeSales University on November 26 to close the opening month of the season.

The Blue and Grey have four games slated for December beginning with a trip to Johns Hopkins University on December 1. Moravian then opens the 2019-20 Landmark Conference season at Elizabethtown College on December 7. After a short break for first semester finals, the Hounds will host Yeshiva (N.Y.) University on December 19 and Immaculata University on December 21 before taking two weeks off for the holidays.

Once the calendar flips to 2020, Moravian will play nine times in January beginning with the annual Steel Club Classic on January 4 and 5 as the Greyhounds face off against Ithaca (N.Y.) College and SUNY Oswego. The Blue and Grey jump back into Landmark Conference play on January 11 when they host The Catholic University of America. After trips to The University of Scranton on January 15 and Juniata College on January 18, the Hounds return to Johnston Hall to host Drew University on January 22 and Goucher College on January 25. The month finishes with a road trip to Susquehanna University on January 29.

Moravian plays seven times in February with the first two games on the road with trips to Catholic on February 1 and Drew on February 5. The Greyhounds will play four of their final five games in Johnston Hall with contests versus Juniata on February 8, Scranton on February 12, Susquehanna on February 19 and Elizabethtown on February 22 with the final road trip to Goucher in the middle on February 15.

The 2020 Landmark Conference playoffs are slated to start on Wednesday, February 26 with the top two teams in the four-team field hosting semifinal games. The conference championship contest is scheduled for February 29 with the conference champion receiving an automatic bid to the 2020 NCAA Division III Tournament.
