Moravian Men Ready for 2019-20 Home Opener on November 8 Versus Muhlenberg College

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's basketball squad that returns six players from last year's Landmark Conference Championship and NCAA Division III Tournament team is set to begin the 2019-20 campaign on Friday, November 8 when the Greyhounds host rival Muhlenberg College in Johnston Hall at 7:00 p.m.

First-year Head Coach Shawn Postiglione enters he debut season in Bethlehem trying to guide the Hounds to their third consecutive Landmark Conference title.

Leading the returnees will be senior guard C.J. Barnes, who was selected to the Landmark All-Conference Second Team a year ago after averaging 12.4 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. Barnes also had a team-high 66 three-pointers to go with 21 steals and 16 assists while averaging 21.5 minutes per game. Senior forward Addis Ralph contributed 5.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per contest a year ago to go along with 16 three-pointers, 12 assists and 10 blocked shots.

Senior forward John Hargraves was contributing 4.8 points and 2.1 rebounds per outing to go with 11 blocked shots before an injury sidelined him for the final 11 games last winter, and Hargraves looks to bounce back and contribute this season. Junior guard Matt O'Connor hit 21 three-pointers a year ago to go with 47 rebounds, 37 assists and 22 steals while netting 4.1 points per game while junior guard Keith Otto scored 2.7 points per game with 47 rebounds, 19 assists, 13 steals and 11 three-pointers. Senior guard Mike Martino was third on the squad last season with 59 assists, and he also added 51 rebounds, 23 points and 16 steals.

Coach Postiglione has added six freshmen and a pair of transfers to the roster for 2019-20.
