Men Post Four PR Times at Penn State University Tune-Up

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's indoor track & field team had a portion of the squad participate in the Penn State University Tune-Up Friday afternoon where the Hounds posted four personal best times in the meet.

Senior Justin Beasley-Turner posted a PR time of 1:54.27 in the 800-meter run, finishing eighth in the race in the eighth-best time in school history. Junior Sean McFarland ran a pair of PRs for the men including a time of 22.50 seconds in the 200-meter dash. Sophomore Taylor Porter McPherson was eighth in the race in 23.41 seconds while senior Evan Lutz took tenth in 23.68 seconds.

McFarland had another PR of 7.36 seconds in the preliminaries 60-meter dash before finishing eighth in 7.44 seconds. Porter McPherson took tenth in the preliminaries in 7.47 seconds while Lutz placed third in the 400-meter dash in a PR of 51.29 seconds.

The Greyhounds are set to return to action on Saturday, February 29 in the 2020 Landmark Conference Championships hosted by Susquehanna University as Moravian looks for its 12th Landmark title in the last 13 years.
