Greyhounds Drop 6-3 Decision to Bridgewater (Va.) in Hilton Head

HILTON HEAD, S.C. --- The Moravian College women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to Bridgewater (Va.) College at Carolina Place in the PTR Spring TennisFest Wednesday afternoon.

Moravian, now 2-4 this season, trailed by a 2-1 score after the doubles action with sophomore Erica Venuti and freshman Carley Agrifolio posting an 8-5 win at second doubles.

The Greyhounds picked up a pair of points in singles action with junior Chelsea Ott posting a 6-4, 6-3 win at first singles and sophomore Katie Zien earning a 7-5, 7-5 at third singles.

Moravian will close out its trip to Hilton Head and the PTR Spring TennisFest on Thursday, March 8 as the Greyhounds will play Wittenberg (Ohio) University at 3:15 p.m. at Evian Courts.
